PTA Moms and Dads

While my children were in school I was part of the PTA. This organization was an opportunity for parents and other adults to work together for the benefit of not only their own children, but all of the children in their child's school. Tasks from greeting children the first day of school, to delivering fresh bouquets to each teacher on the first day, to plant sales to raise money to pay community arts people to bring their knowledge and passion to the students, to planning for new school buidings, PTA covered it all. Activities of a thousand kinds continue to take place all over the state of Minnesota on behalf of today's students. A wonderful volunteer effort that supports the education of the children of Minnesota and adds value in so many ways to this great state.
