Marvin Lamppa

Marvin Lamppa in Babbitt, Minnesota. A school teacher. His passion was always history. He instilled a sense of pride and recognition in all of his students. I knew people who didn't like school-but when they had a class with Mr. Lamppa he got them looking at the history that was around them. They got to learn about local history. He's touched so many people. He has made a real contribution to teaching and a passion with Minnesota history.
