"Good stuff, Maynard." So went a slogan for the wheat farina-and-barley malt hot cereal created by Tom Campbell in 1919, and made for many years in Northfield. Malt-O-Meal has certainly made winter breakfasts in Minnesota rather worthwhile thanks to its versatility with brown sugar, honey, chocolate syrup, whatever.
