I work with many Liberians and their courage always inspires me. Their home was torn about. The ones lucky enough to escape the horrible violence, forced to leave family and loved ones behind in the turmoil and attempt to carry on shows their courage. People who had family members raped, tortured and killed have a spirit that is truly amazing. Things have settled down in Liberia now but still they work at least two jobs and send a major part of their income back to Liberia.
