Levern Evald Larson

My father, Levern Larson, was born in Kennedy, Minnesota, grew up in Cottonwood, Minnesota, later moving to North Minneapolis. He attended the 1919 steam engine collision at the Fair with his grandfather. They annually attended the fair throughout their lifetimes. Later, he came to the Fair every year with me until his death. He was a two-time sweepstakes winner at the Minnesota State Fair and later a Fair judge for almost 20 years. I am upholding the tradition by coming to the Fair with my daughter, Ingrid. The two of us have attended the Fair together every year since her birth.
