Created in 1871, Lakewood Cemetery has truly been a haven in the heart of the city since its inception. Today, visitors can stroll leisurely through its manicured paths and reflect on life and death while encountering stunning artwork and important figures in Minnesota's history, like Paul Wellstone and Hubert Humphrey. The memorial chapel is truly Minneapolis's hidden treasure.
