Harvey Ratner and Marvin Wolfenson

Harv and Marv lived their whole lives in Minnesota. Their business partnership built and operated over 2,000 apartments, which over the decades have housed hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans. Their health clubs, which have similarly had hundreds of thousands of Minnesota members over the years, contributed signficantly to the health of our state's population. Finally, they brought professional basketball back to Minnesota. This not only helped revitalize downtown Minneapolis, through the construction of Target Center but also provided entertainment for millions of fans. In summary, a significant portion of the Minnesota population has been housed, provided with recreational opportunities, employed, or entertained by these two men's business.
