Harrison Salisbury

I'd like to nominate Harrison Salisbury. He is a journalist born and raised in Minneapolis, reporter for the New York Times and wrote significant books about China and Russia. He has also written very evocatively about growing up in Minneapolis. You should read what he has written about growing up in Minnesota. A book by that title was published by the University of Minnesota in 1976. Salisbury's piece is one of ten included in the book. He's a very readable writer. I hope I'm not the only one nominating him.
