Excelsior Amusement Park

This park was on the shore of Lake Minnetonka from 1924-1974. It was a great family and friend gathering place, as well as a class trip adventure. Not only was the fun house soooo exciting with its big indoor slide, there was a huge moving barrel that you would try and walk thru. The roller coaster from the park went to Valley Fair when the park closed and the carousel went to the state fair, then to Town Square, and is now at Como Park. This park helped make many, many memories for many people for 50 wonderful years.
