Erma Mazingo

The late Erma Mazingo, a socialite's socialite. There was not a social club in the Twin Cities that Erma Mazingo was not in some way involved with. She made herself visible by the sheer force, grace, and energy that she brought to the table of every organization she was affiliated with. A woman well-versed in the insights of business and especially insurance, she worked her way into a class of society not particularly prone to the likes of black society. As a forerunner she paved ways for our youth to view opportunities never before imagined in the corporate business world of today. Ms. Mazingo was an icon for the Twin Cities and the whole state of Minnesota in bringing us all closer together at the table of equality.
