Emma Anderson and Don Anderson

My grandmother and father were extensively involved in the turkey industry for over 50 years. They can give you many stories and information on the ups/downs of the industry and different things that have happened to them over the years in Minnesota. They first started out raising turkeys for meat and then became involved in raising turkeys for hatching eggs. They were also involved in different associations in the industry helping make improvements, problem solving and helping others. My dad's sister was Minnesota Turkey Queen one year in the 1960s. My siblings and I were also involved as well while growing up on the farm and I have a lot of good memories.
