Elizabeth Samuels

In the Northside community, Elizabeth Samuels is known as Queen Mother, a fitting name for a person who has dedicated her entire life to advocating for the rights of others. Elizabeth has a keen awareness of the issues and makes sure that her community is informed about them. Elizabeth has reached out to persons who ordinarily wouldn't have been involved in community affairs. She has called them on the telephone, made home visits, and made sure that they were included. She is indeed an unsung hero.
