Ed Prohofsky

Ed is considered the Founding Father of adapted athletics in Minnesota. His tireless leadership and lobbying on behalf of kids with disabilities led to the establishment of the Minnesota Association of Adapted Athletics, making Minnesota the only state in the country with an adapted athletic program at the high school level. The statewide statefunded program assures that students with disabilities have the same opportunities to compete and letter as able-bodied students. More bio information available.
