Ed Fischer is a political cartoonist who is very close to his Minnesota ties. Now residing in Rochester, MN, he has lived many places in the US but always had his heart in Minnesota. He has shaped Minnesota by cartoons and statements about Minnesota, the good as well as the bad. He has put several books such as, You know you're Minnesotan if... and 101 things to do with a mosquito. He has given many talks about humor in Minnesota in many different settings. He may not be as famous as Bob Dylan, but I certainly see the impact and shape that he has done for Minnesota.
