Charlie Maguire

Charlie is a musician who has written many songs about Minnesota and places in the state. He also wrote many songs about the Mississippi River while serving as the Singing Park Ranger. My music students have sung many of his songs and because of them have learned more about the history of our state.

Charlie has sung and written many songs about Minnesota, and has helped keep history alive for the young and old. His songs on the Mississippi River are beautiful and educational. He is a uniquely Minnesotan icon.
