Barns in Minnesota have been the anchor for the farm life of this great state. They are landmarks for many families and they are definitely a symbol of the state of Minnesota. Even though nowadays barns are becoming more and more obsolete with the rise of corporations, barns are definitely a symbol for the Minnesota farmer. Barns offer a glimpse into an era that is often forgotten. They should remind all of the hard work and determination--and they were the heart and soul--of the Minnesota farmlands.
